At Sitting Moon Doula,

I typically work with one to three families a month.

That way, I can be focused on them, dedicated to their needs, and always prioritize the family with the newest baby. I always maintain ongoing communication regarding scheduling so that my families feel fully supported.

The Process

1. Initial (complimentary!) FaceTime meeting.

We discuss what working together would look like, and see if we’re a good fit. If we decide to move forward…

2. Prenatal meeting (in-person and complimentary):

I come to your home so we can meet in person. If we still feel good about a mutual fit and want to move forward:

I send contracts via DocuSign.
You sign and pay a 50% deposit (Square, ACH bank transfer, or credit card). This deposit gets applied to the last 50% of your hours. (After I complete the first 50% of hours, I send another invoice. This means we are fully paid halfway into your engagement.)

3. Baby-prep meeting (in-person and complimentary).

This happens approximately two weeks before your due date. We discuss details, bind bellies, and get ready for baby’s arrival!

4. Baby comes home

The adventure begins!

Rates & Timeframes

Work with me for one month

100 hours x $55/hour

Upon baby’s arrival home, I am usually in your home 7 days in a row — either for 4–6 hours during the day or 8 hours at night, depending on your needs. I don’t take a day off during that time. After the first week, when most issues are resolved or in-process of being resolved with a plan in place, I take two days off. In week 2, I usually come four days a week for four hours, gradually tapering in weeks 3 and 4.

Add on two weeks (optional)

40 hours x $55/hour

Families who have special situations, have medically fragile infants, or need extended care may wish to add an additional two weeks to our engagement.
